Milk Plus 6 Shampoo & Conditioner

Washing my hair in the communal showers at the San Clemente Beach campground. Sand bluffs and summer and relaxation, combined with the (though I didn’t quite understand the sensation at the time) sexy smell of herbals. Something was supposed to happen, but I didn’t know what, just that the smell made me feel good and ready for anything. Currently echoed by Method’s Lavender Thyme shower gel, which now makes me feel nostalgic.

July 2008: So many people are interested in getting this shampoo back on the market. Given the past and current interest in nostalgia, plus the desire for a product that is tried and true, such a thing just might be possible! If you’d like to give them a call, the phone number for Revlon’s Comment Center is 800-473-8566. Thank you to Lisa, from comments, for providing the number!

    • denise b. tanks says:

Glad, someone feels as I do. I wrote Revlon yeara ago, asking to bring back their best product ever. To this day nothing comes close to Milk Plus 6. Bring it back please.

      • Sue says:

I really miss it too!!!!! They really should put it back on the market, or at least make it avalible to those of us who truely loved it.

      • sherry padavona says:

I tried it when my dollar store had it for a buck. Bought all they had. Biosilk has many of the same ingredients and works similarly but you have to use the conditioner separate to get this effect and expensive. Finesse for damaged shampoo and conditioner is very good also. My hair is thin, fine and very long and also dry. Please bring back the Revlon! Thanks

    • Donna Hogue says:

I can’t believe I’m hearing about Milk Plus 6. That was my favorite shampoo and I believe the last time I even heard of it was in the 70’s. Anyone know where I could purchase some?

      • Katherine Kahn says:

Hello and good day to you. We have ne lot with 2 bottles up for sale on ebay, yes great shampoo and very hard to find. Have a good day, thank you.

  2. Matt says:

I loved that shampoo and have been trying to find it for years! Is it still available?

    • sue smith says:

when something is good Why!!!!! do we take it away?

Please bring back “Milk plus 6”.

      • Pat Merkel says:

I KNOW!!! EVERYTIME I GET INTERESTED IN A PRODUCT AND GET TO LOVE IT VERY MUCH – THEY STOP PRODUCING IT! SO WHEN MY BELOVED MILK PLUS 6 SHAMPOO WAS FAST DISAPPEARING FROM THE SHELVES – I WAS IN A PANIC AND BOUGHT $300.00 WORTH! THIS IS ENOUGH TO LAST ME A LIFETIME – THANK GOD. I HAVE BLEACHED BLONDE LOCKS AND WOULD BE IN TROUBLE WITHOUT MY MILK PLUS 6 – I DON’T EVEN NEED A CONDITIONER – NO TANGLES – THINK OF IT – A SHAMPOO THAT DOES NOT TANGLE A BLEACHED HEAD. BUT HERE IS A TIP FOR ANYONE LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND IT – DON’T USE THE ONE FOR DRY HAIR – IT IS A BIT TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING AND LEAVES THE HAIR TOO SOFT FOR STYLING – THE MILK PLUS 6 FOR NORMAL HAIR IS THE BEST – NON-OILY, AND WONDERFUL! PAT MERKEL

      • Anonymous says:

Hi Pat Merkel , could you possibly right up the ingredients of the milk plus 6 shampoo and conditioner

  3. jazzy says:

i’ve been searching for this shampoo and conditioner for years. It’s a shame it’s not available anymore, or is it?

    • Katherine says:

  4. tom says:

can milk plus six still be purchased

  5. cathy says:

I used this shampoo a long time ago. I remember I really loved how silky it made my hair feel, and smell. Why would they take it off the market, or if not how can I purchase it. Links on the internet do not lead me to a website that I can purchase this product from.

  6. Samantha says:

Oh, I wish they still sold it, but I think it’s long, long gone. Revlon released it in the mid- or late 70’s, and it was one of the first 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioners out there. I remember that the shampoo looked very luxuriously pearlized (versus other clear shampoos of the time) but of course the very best part about it was the smell. It’s amazing that a 30 year old product can still have such a hold on so many people.

Sorry to disappoint you, but thanks for writing!

  7. Sherry Dix says:

BOY! I wish you still made the Milk Plus 6 moisture cream for you face. Revlon made it and I miss it. Will you bring it back?

    • Anonymous says:

Milk plus 6 facial cream was the best. They should put it back on the market. When something works, leave it along !!!

  8. stephanie says:

send request comments to revlon for their introduction of this product;milk plus six…(re-introduction) i just did. we may be surprised, they may do it. i recently made a request to a large company and was amazed to see the item in their next catalog! there must have been others wanting the same thing. when demand reaches a tipping point…voila!

  9. Tim says:

This was always my favorite shampoo/conditioner. It may my hair soft and shiny. Wish I could purchase this product again. It works.

  10. Lisa says:

WOW! I see everyone else had the same awesome experience with Milk Plus 6. Back in the 70’s I used to wash my hair than go outside with a mirror in the sunlight and see all my natural highlights come out and shine..oh that shine. I too have been looking for years for it and miss it..If anyone finds it or hears they’re coming bakc out with it, please let me know…..I NEED MY MILK PLUS!

  11. Lisa says:

I just called Revlon directly giving them my opinion, comment and desire to have Milk Plus 6 back in my life. They have a call center you can call to express your comments on any of their products….Call and make yours about Milk Plus 6 and if they hear it enough times, maybe we can get it back on the market. The phone number to call Revlon Comment Center directly to speak to their representative is 800-473-8566….I urge everyone to call. Let’s get MILK PLUS 6 BACK!!!

  12. Capri says:

The seventies is referred to as the shampoo generation and it’s easy to see why. That decade had such good hallmark products that are sought out to this day! Top of he favorites list are the original Herbal Essence, Body on Tap, Milk Plus six, Agree, etc…

  13. Heidi says:

Hey, the only shampoo that compares to Milk Plus 6 is the shampoo that Revlon includes in their
high lightening hair kits- hmmmmmmmmm I wonder??
    I loved that shampoo!

  14. Anonymous says:

I TOO WAS A BIG FAN OF MILK PLUS 6 AND HAVE SPENT YEARS TRYING TO FIND IT AND CONSTANTLY SWITCHING SHAMPOOS. NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE TO IT SURE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT BACK. WHY DO COMPANIES GO AROUND FIXING SOMETHING THAT ISN’T BROKEN?

  15. Nora10 says:

Well, it looks like Revlon is selling some version of Milk Plus 6 in some of the Scandinavian countries because I think it’s from the ebay in one of them. Check out this link: http://urun.gittigidiyor.com/REVLON-Jojoba-Milk-Plus-6-Sampuan-Conditioner_W0QQidZZ4892346

  16. Paige says:

I want Milk Plus 6- i saw that web site noted above but its not english- somebody has to have it. But I will be calling Revlon and express wanting that shampoo back to market

  17. kris says:

I too have been looking for this product. My hair smelled so nice..and was so shiny..and it was so sleek and smooth it felt like cool glass or steel. I even asked the catalog company Vermont Country Store..to find the product for me ..and they couldn’t…(They frequently get companies to remake the product…like they did with Gee your Hair Smells Nice shampoo.) If anyone finds it I would love to know!

  18. Tryntje says:

The Milk Plus 6 facial wash was the best. I was heartbroken when they stopped making it. I’ve contacted Revlon and Vermont Country Store to no avail. Back in the 70’s the first comment someone usually made to me was “you have really nice skin”. Today, my skin doesn’t have a single wrinkle (at age 50) and I am certain my years of using Milk Plus 6 are what made the difference (that and avoiding sun tans).

  19. Tony Nap says:

I have been working in the hairdressing industry for over 30 years. I have seen all the recent products with their exorbitant price tags corner the market and sell sell sell, I have my own salon and we retail, Kerastase. Paul Mitchell, Nexxus, Fudge, and Joice. Also in the past we have stocked Redken. I can assure anyone who knows hair that none of these ranges comes anywhere near to matching the conditioning strength and the silk feeling after shampoo experience of the old Revlon product Milk Plus 6. It appears only to be on sale now on scandinavian ebay. If there is anyone out there who knows how i could purchase this product wholesale to sell in quantities from my salon i would be more than happy to advertise it and sell it to all you people out there who like me miss this fantastic product. Why Revlon ever took it from the market remains one of lifes mysteries. I can be contacted on 0207 607 8847 if anyone out there would like to supply me with this product in quantity i would be grateful

  20. Tina S. says:

I am so interested in this site, but I don’t see the
the website information so that I may order. Can you please help me with this information.

  21. Marsha W. says:

I have been wanting Milk Plus 6 shampoo & conditioner back in my life for over 20 years. Finding the perfect shampoo was a once in a lifetime experience you never forget. My hair was soft, sleek, shiny and smelled so good. I could shampoo everyday. I have very thick hair and being able to run a small comb thru my hair after rinsing away the shampoo was absolutely unheard of until I found Milk Plus 6. Revlon, please bring back my Milk Plus 6.

  22. Denise says:

July 2008: Here’s the closest translation I could find – any speakers of Portuguese out there?
I was surprise when I made the research sbre milk plus and found as many people that tb shampoo had been never forgotten it. Vi nothing equal and dere comb never disappeared of the market. It would very like to find the product, really the pleasant perfume and the effect of shampoo had been never more found in another product.

  23. Ruth Strozdas says:

Please tell e where I can order/purchase Milk Plus 6 shampoo. It contains ingredients that far surpass any shampoo on the market today.

  24. Andre says:

I am a guy and I used Milk Plus Six long ago and really liked it. When I couldn’t find it any longer I searched high and low and I found another product that I believe comes very close to the Milk Plus Six shampoo. Its called Creme Of Nature. Try it.

  25. Cindy D. says:

Oh man, I remember it, too, and LOVED it!! The smell was so awesome, and it was silky in my hair. I just wrote to Revlon begging them to bring it back, and gave them this URL link to read our comments. Revlon, BRING BACK OUR “MILK PLUS 6” SHAMPOO!!!!!

  26. Barbara says:

Like all of you, I loved Milk Plus 6 Shampoo/Conditioner back in the seventies. I recently became nostalgic for it after trying a sample of another shampoo called “Soy Milk Shampoo” by Sexy Hair. It gave a lot of the same silkiness as Milk Plus 6 but it wasn’t a 2-in-1. I will buy more of the Soy Milk Shampoo but I still would love to see Milk Plus 6 back on the shelves. I’m going to give a call to Revlon- thanks for the phone number.

  27. colleen says:

years ago i used milke plus six shampooo. it was great i really miss it. no other shampoo compares to it. are they going to put these products back out there. hopefully these companies start listening to the consumer and not these six figure salary clowns.

    colleen

  28. janine says:

Me too I miss my “Milk Plus 6” Not only did it make my hair behave. Where I live the humidity in the summer is crazy and my hair looked good for maybe 1 hour but when I used my “Milk” all was well and I looked good! I loved the scent also, I use to wash my wool sweaters in it. I know its be along time but it is inbedded in my mind. I want my Milk Plus 6 BACK!!!!!

  29. Hootie says:

I recall this shampoo, I also recall a hairdresser saying something along the lines that it coats ones hair (with resin perhaps?). I’m a bald headed dude now so I guess it doesn’t matter.

    Hootie

  30. Jackie says:

I used this shampoo in the mid 70s when I was in my teens, and loved the effect it had on my hair. Not so sure it would still have the same effect – my hair’s a lot thinner and drier than it used to be!

  31. Kimberly says:

There is not a shampoo out there that can compare to Milk Plus 6. Please REVLON BRING IT BACK!!!!!

  32. Comfort says:

I was in Nigeria in the 70s when I used Milk Plus 6 face lotion (I actually used it for the whole body) and everyone used to comment on my lovely skin but all of a sudden, I could not find it anymore. I have been using Elizabeth Arden products since then and I’ve tried some other products in-between but none of these so called designer products compares to mp6 and it was very good value for money as well. I’ve searched everywhere for it in the western countries for the past 19 years I’ve been living in the U.K. to no avail.
Coincidentally, my mind just went to it again tonight and I googled it which led me to this site. I never knew about the shampoo/conditioner but would definitely try it if Revlon could bring them back to the market.
REVLON, PLS LISTEN TO US CONSUMERS, BRING THESE PRODUCTS BACK AND YOU WOULD NOT REGRET IT. I’M POSITIVE THAT EVEN THE PRESENT GENERATION WOULD LOVE THEM.

  33. D. McCoy says:

I have often thought about Milk Plus 6 shampoo. I used it in 1978. It was the best product for my relaxed hair leaving it sleek, managable and silky. When are you bringing it back, why did it leave the market, what replaced it, and can I get some somewhere.
    Ms. McCoy

  34. CINDY A. says:

I HOPE THAT THIS PRODUCT CAN BE PURCHASED AGAIN. I USED TO USE THIS SHAMPOO WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER, I AM NOW IN MY FORTIES & I HAVE NOT FOUND ANYTHING IN COMPARISON TO THAT SHAMPOO. THIS SHAMPOO WAS WONDERFUL TO MY HAIR NOT TO MENTION IT’S GREAT HERBAL SCENT. IT MADE MY HAIR SILKY, MANAGABLE AND SOFT. REVLON BEING A COMPANY OF GREAT PRODUCTS WHICH I USE, SHOULD CONSIDER BRINGING THIS SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER BACK ON THE MARKET. I WILL SURELY BE ONE LOYAL CUSTOMER.

  35. Kelly says:

I was so glad to see someone else was looking for the shampoo. I used it back in high school and loved it I wish they still made it. It made your hair so silky soft and sleek. Please start making it again. If they started selling it I would turn all of my friend and family on to it,
it’s hard to tell them how good it was if they can’t try it BRING IT BACK PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. DEBBIE DRUMMOND says:

I REMEMBER COMING ACROSS MILK PLUS 6 SHAMPOO WHEN I LIVED IN ROME IN EARLY 80s AND LOVED IT -I CANT FIND IT HERE ANYWHERE – I MIGHT BE IN ITALY SOON AND SEE IF I CAN IMPORT IT AS SO MANY PEOPLE WOULD BUY IT – WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!

  37. samantha says:

I was watching the morning news and they were doing a piece about good products long since off the market and I remembered Milk Plus Six Shampoo and how I wished they still made it!
I googled the name and am SO surprised to see how many people loved it! LOL I’m also going to call the company and request they bring it back!

  38. Mona Lisa says:

Please bring back Milk Plus shampoo and conditioners. Where can I find them.

  39. Sherry Dix says:

I’m with the gal that said the Milk Plus 6 face cream helped with no wrinkles. I used it everyday when I was younger and I don’t have any wrinkles either and I’m 54 years old. Please Please Revlon bring it back.

  40. John L. says:

Hear, hear. Another big fan of Milk Plus 6. I too used it in the 70s and for part of the 80s. Just thought of it recently — after using Johnson’s Baby Shampoo for the past several years. I plan to put in my two cents’ worth to Revlon.

  41. Please bring back Milk Plus 6 face cream or tell me where to order it .
    Thanks M

TRANSLATION of Denise’s comment: I was surprised (to discover), after doing some research about Milk Plus (6), that so many people hadn’t forgotten about it either. Never have I seen anything like it and suddenly it just disappeared from the market. I’d really like to find this product. It had a pleasant scent I’ve never since found such wonderful results from any other shampoo.

    JCL

    Yes, indeed.

  43. Amber says:

Ahhh the seventies… Yes, Milk Plus 6 Shampoo was THE best hair care product this 45 yr old curly/unruly haired gal EVER used. Someone above commented that Revlon includes a shampoo or conditioner with their hair color products that is quite similar. I concur that it is eerily similar, (cant recall which product as Ive used lots of their color over the years, LOL) But, I recall thinking that the smell was the same, my hair felt oddly awesome afterwards, and I immediatly thought of MP6 when using it. Of course you only get a “smidgen” of product, but it was really nice for a change. And I concur that a whole new generation of people would “dig it” just as much as we did way back when. I know for sure I’d be a loyal customer, as nothing on the market today comes close in quality or results. I do wonder why they ever axed the product line?

  44. Terri says:

I loved this shampoo and want to love it again. I still remember how it made my hair smell and feel and there is no other product today that does the job Milk plus 6 did.
Please bring it back to the market.

  45. Georgi Ann says:

I loved that shampoo and have never found anything like it in 20 years. I used it all the time and no need for conditioner. My hair was silky and soft. They always stop the good stuff. I don’t know when they’er going to get it, If it’s not broke, don’t fix it!! Thanks for the phone number, I will give them a call.

  46. may says:

I’m so glad I’m not alone! I’ve been looking for this product for the past 20 years as well. My hair looked amazing when I used Milk Plus Six! I’ve been trying to find something that’s close to it but nothing has ever measured up. After a while, I thought that my hair looked good because I was much younger and I had more time to take care of myself – which is probable true. It’s good to know that I wasn’t the only one that thought this product was so great.

  47. anna w. says:

I am so very pleased to see so many responses and requests for Revlon Milk Plus 6 face cream and shampoo. I had been searching for years. I had a very long following of clients at the cosmetic counter when I worked in the Base Exhange on the USAF bases I worked. My of my customers returned with Thank you’s for this great product. I myself had used it and now at age 74, I attribute my clean complexion to “Milk Plus 6” Please, Please give us this product back to us! Thank You. Anna

  48. karen b. says:

I loved, loved, loved this shampoo and conditioner. As a teenager in the late 70’s my hair was always delicious smelling and silky. I have looked on any and every site possible to try and score some Milk plus 6 and no luck. I really do wish companies would stop fixing what is not broken. Revlon made a bad move discontinuing this one. After all these years I still look for it!! Nothing still compares!

  49. Betty Ann says:

I have looked in flea markets, thrift stores and have been on a search for the past 15 years. I have never had a shampoo that did so much. I have fine hair and it made it shiny, bouncy and fuller. The close I have come to it is REDKIN FAT CAT but that has also been discontinued. I have been in mourning for MILK PLUS SIX and have forever been on a hunt for it.

  50. please bring back MILK PLUS SIX SHAMPOO

  51. La' Tasha Coleman says:

I too remember using this shampoo. I am only 29 and I was able to locate milk plus 6 into my teens. It was sold at a small local store and I have asked them to find it again. I wish that Revlon would bring the product back because my hair is in terrible shape now.

  52. Diane says:

    Bring back Milk Plus 6!!!!

WoW, I would love to have this product back on the market. I used back in the 70s and my hair was so silky and shiny. I found it in the 80’s in LA and I bought a few bottles. I can’t find it anywhere. Please bring it back

  53. Kiki says:

Thats was the best shampoo, ever, pink bottle, bring it back by the case !!

  54. bstover says:

I loved Milk Plus 6. I have been trying to find it at the stores in Akron, Ohio. Finally, I decided to look on the web, and all the sites are like this one. Maybe Revlon simply wants to punish us over fifty women for burning our bras! I really have no clue, but wish they would put it on the market again, or tell us why they won’t.

  55. Barbara says:

I too love Milk Plus 6 face cream, and I have been looking for it for a very long time. I have very sensitive skin, and this cream was the best for my face. I love the feel of this cream and the smell. Please bring it back, or make a cream similar to Milk Plus 6.

  56. Debbie says:

Wow can’t believe so many people all feel the same way. You would think that Revlon would jump on the wagon and help us out. Thanks for the # I’ll call too. I miss that silky feel and great smell(My hair is waist length and pretty much has been since the 70’s).I saw that someone metioned a shampoo in one of Revlon’s color kits I really think you’re right it’s the closest thing I have used or smelled for that matter. We need it Back!

  57. I need this shampoo an conditioner its the only thing that works on my hair.Vickie Morris

  58. Will you please start making this conditioner and shampoo.

  59. I will buy six of each one at a time of the milk plus 6.Vickie p.s.Did you make g-your hair smells terific.

  60. Phyllis Robinson says:

Talked with a friend, and we both have made the call to bring back the best shampoo & conditioner made

  61. beth marie says:

I to just decided to try to find out whether anyhthing similar to my old favorite milk +6 was out there for me to purchase. I remember the white bottle being opened and the smell very nice and the feel after conditioning was great. If it could be brought back even for a limited time try out,you might be surprised by the outcome.

  62. Andy says:

I was very surprised at the number of people who remember Milk Plus 6 shampoo as it was also my favorite. I have also been searching high and low for this product and would appreciate a comeback of this shampoo.

  63. Andy says:

I was surprised to learn of the number of people also missing Milk Plus 6 in their lives. I too would appreciate it if Revlon were to bring back Milk Plus 6 shampoo.

  64. Jimm says:

I did a search for Milk Plus 6 after using my daughters conditioner that came with her hair coloring stuff. The smell sure reminded me of it.
It’s called Feria and it’s by Loreal. I’m sure it’s not the same stuff but the smell sure brought me back to the 70’s… ‘sigh’.

  65. Melanie says:

Another woman here who used Milk Plus 6 in my teens and early 20s and have never found anything to compare with it. Why in the world they took it off the market is beyond me. I would be loyal to that product for life! My hair would be so silky and soft (and my hair is normally quite thick and rather coarse.) I want my Milk Plus 6!

  66. Nesta says:

I used Milk +6 40 years ago and loved it. I introduced my daughter to it who also loved it. I would now like to introduce my grandaughter to it which might combat the harsh texture that straighteners leave. PLEASE BRING IT BACK.

  67. Jane Bradley-Jones says:

I became a big Fan of Milk Plus 6 when I visited my friend in Indiana, in the 70’s. I used to stock up whenevr I visited her.. I used to be able to buy it here in england, then it vanished! I always loved the fragrance and had LOADS of comments about how nice my hair smelt! PLEASE BRING IT BACK! Why on earth did they remove it from sale. ‘If it aint broken why fix it?’ as the saying goes 🙂 I’ve never found anything to compare with it over the years either, and I have tried Soooo many! Very frustrating.

  68. RD Wade says:

Milk plus 6 was the best shampoo I ever used, and I have used dozens of hair care products over the years. Not only was the product’s fragrance, texture and color appealing, but the way my hair felt when using it was awesome. My scalp felt really great. I never even needed a conditioner as as extra measure. Does anyone know why this was taken off the market? Maybe to sell conditioner? I would love it if Revlon brough it back. Someone should e-mail Revlon’s largest shareholder, Ron Perelman and ask him to bring it back – of course, he’s bald, so maybe he could give a (u-know-what).

  69. Joyce says:

I LOVED Milk Plus 6 just as the rest of these fellow poster’s. How I loved the smell and that wonderful creamy lather that was so gentle and left your hair feeling so silky.

It did seem like those products of the 70’s were better than today even with all the technology.
Besides Milk Plus 6, I also loved the original
    “Lemon Up” shampoo and conditioner.
The perfect smell of lemons was divine. The conditioner was more like a creme rinse and gave my hair lots of shine.
How I wish we could resurrect these old time, wonderful products.

I tried the Vermont Country Store’s version of Lemon Up’ but it was not the same.
It smelled way different, like Lemon Pledge, Yuck!
I had hoped it was the original formula but it was not.

  70. Sue says:

Please bring back milk plus 6 !!!!!!!!

  71. Anonymous says:

please please please bring it back!

  72. Anonymous says:

  73. Linda Stackhouse says:

Please bring Milk Plus 6 back – I’ve been looking for a shampoo to replace it for years, at no avail. Why can’t they bring it back – was there something harmful in the ingredients??

  74. Debra says:

I too would like for your product to return to the market. Milk plus 6. I have not been able to find a shampoo that has a great smell like the one from years ago. Thanks. Please hurry.

  75. Kayla Bradbury says:

I don’t get it. With so many people wanting it, it would obviously be a great seller and Revlon would make so much money. So what possible good reason could they have for not putting the product back out on the market. I think we should all boycott Revlon products until they put the shampoo and the Milk Plus 6 face wash/cream (my favorite!) back on the market!

  76. mcclave says:

I have been searching for a shampoo and conditioner that is in the same league as Revlon Milk Plus 6 and haven’t been able to find one in all these years. I’m 55 and used it in my teens. I would love to see this back on the market. I miss it! There are few products I feel this way about.

  77. JOYCE says:

  78. Janine says:

Still today I am always looking for a shampoo that might smell like Milk Plus 6. Still have not found anything! It was the best shampoo ever not only for doing what it said it would making my hair look great but the SMELL. I owe everything to a “GUY”, Chris he was the first to introduce it to me; not really he used it himself and I dated him because the smell of his hair. He was a great guy and nice looking! Yes I will call and do my part trying to bring it back. Yes if anyone has some I will buy it…lol I know 20+ years since I purchased it last…Miss you

I read all your comments about Revlon Milk Plus Six. I too agree with all I first found it in South Africa in the Eighties and fell for it immediately, it was the only shampoo that made my hair feel clean and smelling nice, no split ends. I came home to the UK and was able to get it locally, then no more no matter where I went, to all the little out of the way chemists, but no joy. So I resigned myself to its loss. I shall also ring Revlon and plead for them to re-introduce it, with an all campaign with us continually bombarding Revlon with calls theyu may get the message.

I cannot believe all the requests for Milk Plus 6–my all time favorite shampoo that they stopped making in the late 70’s! I started using it in my late teens when I began hi-lighting my hair and no other shampoo has EVER come close to duplicating the luscious smell (I can remember that smell to this day!) and the wonderful way it made my hair look and feel. I couldn’t believe Revlon stopped making it—so many people loved it!!! I called the Revlon “call center” today & they took my info & request down, but the woman was far from encouraging…How can the company be so dense when so many folks are requesting it after all these years? I truly think Revlon would make a small fortune on Milk Plus 6 if they would bring it back. It would be a win-win situation! We Milk Plus Six lovers should start an Internet petition..:-)

I did a search on Milk Plus 6 and found this site. I too have been looking for it for years. I can’t believe these posts go back to 2008 and we’re all still waiting for it. I did not realize that Revlon had made it. I had just been on their site trying to locate the conditioner that comes with their
$3 Revlon Colorsilks haircolor. It doesn’t smell as good as the Milk Plus 6, but has the same pearlescent appearance and feels great. Up until last year, K-Mart sold the conditioner bottled separately, but I can’t find it anymore either. By the way, I too am 50 and have no wrinkles. I started using the Revlon Colorsilks in my 20s and my hairdresser just commented last month when she cut my hair that the color of my hair is beautiful, has so much color, and is so shiny. She would have died if I’d told her it’s the $3 Revlon Colorsilks . . . or maybe it was just the conditioner???

Oops . . . make that 2006 that these comments dated back to

Stop wasting your time. I spoke to Revlon last week and they specifically said Revlon no longer makes ANY shampoo or conditioner as they’re no longer in that market. The rep said Milk Plus 6 is never coming back. I asked if there was some chance that Revlon could sell the Milk Plus 6 rights to another company to bring it back on the market, but she said that is very highly unlikely. So it looks like all of us Milk Plus 6 lovers are out of luck. That is so sad as their shampoo/conditioner was truly one of a kind. I did see that on Ebay they’re selling some bottles, but the prices are $50 and up per bottle and that’s just ridiculous. I would pay $10 for a bottle just to try it once again for old times sake, but no more than that.

I’ve been wanting to buy the conditioner that comes with the Revlon Colorsilk dye kits. It smells so nice! For the lady years ago who said she throws it out… I wish she’d save them and sell them.
